Lesson #4 Plant Growth and Reproduction How does a plant grow Procedures  Students will be put into 3 reading groups, the groups will be asked to read a book on plants.  The groups will prepare a chart with an important fact about a plant.  Groups will share chart with class  View a video on the the smart board about plant life cycle  Students will be asked to create a picture of a part of plant cycle and describe.  Have children share creations.

Lesson #5 Animal Characteristics What are some animal characteristics Behavioral Objectives  Students will be able to search the internet for important information they can use.  Students will create their own original animal and explain why it has these characteristics  Students will be able to create a simple power point presentation to class to present to the class.

Lesson #5 Animal Characteristics What are some animal characteristics Procedures  Using the smart board the students take an electronic book walk, to introduce them to different animals and their many characteristics, and why they have them.  Students use site to list animals and characteristics  Students make power point presentation to create a new animal with any characteristics they would like. They must be able to explain why the animal needs this characteristic.  Present power point to class.
