2 DESCRIPTION In this job, I would develop software programs and specific tasks related to programming. I would also, develop and improve large computer networks and systems. I would need to analyze systems and software requirements and design software and systems based on these requirements. Finally, I would debug and test systems and software and do some specialized analysis, sales and, research.

5 SELECTION CRITERIA This was chosen for me, because I have a understanding of computer programing, I enjoy learning computer programs, I can understand technical diagrams, I like to solve problems and seek out new ideas. It also was chosen, because I like to know how things work and I also like to explain idea and information to people. Finally it was chosen, because I like to seek out and analyze information and data and store and organize information.

My hobbies and interests relate to my dream career as I enjoy working on and learning new programs and programming languages. I also enjoy working and playing with new software and different types of mental work problems. Also my personality allows me to work well under stress and I work efficiently in a by myself. I have the ability to self-regulate and work hard without seeing people for the day.

7 SPECIFIC DUTIES My specific duties are to analyze information, the web, or businesses and determine what the function of their program, software, or network will be. Once an application has been given a function, I would have to come up with a programming plan, and programming steps. I than have get this approved by the contractor or client and than I can start to program the code. Finally my last job is to implement the software into the clients operating system or network and analyze if it solved the issue or problem presented.

8 WORKING CONDITIONS I would primarily work in an office or lab with specialty electronics. I would also have to travel to my clients business for quotes and analyzing their software. I would also have to move if I choose to consult for business or the government. The work environment is primarily individual, and the industry is fast passed and highly competitive. The environment inside the office is often quiet and stressful as people are focused on their work, as everyone is on deadlines.

9 EARNINGS The starting wages for Computer Software Engineering is $35,000 - $60,000 with a degree and zero experience in the field. The finally wages are $60,000 - $150,000 once you have 3-4 years of experience in the field. You can make more if you choose to become a CEO or participate in a startup.

10 EMPLOYERS My future employers would be the government, large businesses or startup companies. I would also work with other countries government organizations to build new software or networks. Finally I would be able to consult or work on contract as a analyst or as a senior programmer.

11 EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
I need to have good grades in High School math, English, science, and any computer science courses. I need a bachelor’s degree in computer software engineering or a master’s in computer software engineering. It is also helpful to have 1-2 years of experience with co-op programs throughout university.

Grade Ranges (minimum grades): The minimum game is 70% for all course, but the admission grade is a low 90% Prerequisites: a 4U English, Advanced Functions, Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus and Vectors and than any university level electives.
