3 What is a Comfort Zone? A comfort zone is that place where we feel safe and secure – a place where we can avoid worry, fear, or failure.

4 Where’s the Edge of My Comfort Zone? When you feel fear, uneasiness, or butterflies in your stomach, you are on the edge of your comfort zone

9 Affirmations Affirmations are statements that describe goals in their completed states Examples: Goal: To be a successful business owner Affirmation: I am a successful business owner. Goal: To be able to vacation in the Bahamas with my family. Affirmation: I am sitting in the Bahamas with my family. Goal: To get good grades. Affirmation: I am a 4.0 student.

10 Tips for Affirmations 1.Start with the words “I am” 2.Use the present tense 3.State it in the positive 4.Keep it brief 5.Make it specific 6.Include and “-ing” action word 7.Include at least one dynamic emotion or feeling word.
