Do you want anything specific in a title slide?

At the base of the iSales domain are three Menus: Store, Kit, and Tote. We can ignore both Kit and Tote, as all the content will be administered under the Store Menu.

First we need to create some menus under Store. These will be used to organize content to allow for easy access. This can mean separating items by product- type (above), by content-type (right), or by another method entirely. Do what makes the best sense for the app.

In order to create a new Menu, first right-click on “Store” and select “New Menu”.

Enter a Title for the Menu. Leave other settings as-is, the defaults are correct. Be sure to publish your Menu upon completion, as an unpublished item won’t be displayed in-app. The “Add New” buttons automatically create a new item of the same type after saving the current item. Use of these tools is important for speedy content-administration.

Filters can be added to items for more refined navigation. A Filter is a content category that allows you to toggle the display of every item associated with it.

In order to add a filter, enter the following string into the item’s “Keywords” field: $FILTER_(Filter Category)_(Filter Name) “$FILTER” – This prefix dictates how the string will be interpreted by the system. (Filter Category) – This will be the name of the dropdown menu containing all your filters. Note that you can have multiple different Filter Categories. (Filter Name) – This is the name of the filter itself. This will be the toggle-able group that appears inside the dropdown menu. Note that any one item can have multiple different associated filters.

In order to administer an image file: 1.Right-click the menu under which you would like to add the item, and select New Media. 2.Confirm “Image” is selected in the Media Type drop-down menu. 3.Click “Choose Media Image”. This will open the Image Explorer.

To create a folder for your images, navigate down to Your Site Images and click the Folder Icon at the top. To upload images, navigate to your destination folder and click upload.

Add enough spaces such that there’s room for all the files you intend to upload. In order to avoid duplicate images, you may check “Overwrite if file exists” which will delete any file in your images folder that shares a name and file type with one of the images you’re uploading. Once all of your images have been selected, click upload.

Now when you navigate to your image folder, it should be populated with your assets. Choose an image to upload and click “Select Image”. The image should now appear in the CMS.

In order to administer an image file: 4.Give the image an appropriate title. 5.If need be, add a caption to the image. 6.Choose an image to serve as your icon. 7.Add the appropriate keywords, if applicable.

In order to administer a PDF file: 1.Right-click the menu under which you would like to add the item and select New Media. 2.Select PDF in the Media Type drop-down menu. 3.Enter an appropriate title for your PDF. 4.For an externally hosted file, enter the URL of your PDF. Otherwise, upload your PDF to the file explorer using the method outlined in the images section. 5.Select an image to serve as your icon. 6.Add any appropriate keywords (if applicable).

In order to administer an externally hosted video: 1.Right-click the menu under which you would like to add the item and select New Media. 2.Select Video from the drop-down menu 3.Enter an appropriate title for your video 4.Enter the URL of your video 5.Select an image to serve as your icon 6.Add any appropriate keywords (if applicable) For internally hosted videos, send video files and relevant information (titles / icons / etc.) to AVAI Mobile at
