4 Key Components and Features - Components Spotfire is made up of 3 windows within the application. Each one performs a different function. Graphical View Query Detail Results

6 Key Components and Features – Presentation Style Spotfire has 3 types of presentation styles: Scatter Plot Histogram Pie Chart

7 Key Components and Features – Presentation Style Question: Can you name which style would best represent the query “How much X was found in 1985?”

8 Key Components and Features – Types of View Within each presentation style, there are many ways to view the data: Zooming Panning Sorting data

9 Key Components and Features – Types of View Question: Find the data that fits the conditions, “X, Y and Z”.

10 Key Components and Features – Binning Data Spotfire has a feature called “binning” where you can divide data into logical bins. You can “bin” by: Equal Intervals (every 5) Ranges of values (1-10, 10-15, 15,30) Much more!
