1 st stage: Seed A seed is a flowering plants way of reproduction. A seed has the ability to reproduce a plant.

2 nd stage: sprouting This is when the seed after absorbing water opens up and sprouts begin to form. This is known as Cotyledon: lobe contained within the seed. The roots grow first.

3 rd stage: Young stem: immature plant.

4 th stage: First leaves: first organs of photosynthesis to appear. Radicle: part of the plant from which the root originates. Secondary roots: divisions of the primary root.
