4 Strategy – define themes Vision To create a vibrant, inclusive and enterprising community offering equal opportunities and be inherently attractive to all age groups. Main Objective To attract and retain a viable population on the island providing them with a range of opportunities commensurate with those they can enjoy on the mainland Detailed objectives and actions To provide or promote the provision of housing on the island Encourage all properties on the island to be of a high standard and in particular encourage low cost, low impact eco-building techniques both for new builds and for renovations. Ensure adequate provision of housing for both single people and families with affordable rents.
