3 PROGRAM HISTORY 2009: College Access Challenge Grant (CACG) awarded to Indiana (ICHE). 2010: ICHE & IYI developed partnership to oversee the development & management of mentoring initiative. High Schools & Mentoring Programs selected through RFP process.

10 85% of ICSM class of 2012 students enrolled in postsecondary – 80% right out of HS 71% of ICSM class of 2013 students enrolled in postsecondary – 67% right out of HS 65% of ICSM class of 2014 students enrolled in postsecondary right out of HS The majority of ICSM students who enrolled in postsecondary did so right out of high school:

11 More students in the class of 2012 enrolled than all comparison groups, except for 21 st century scholars in ICSM schools More students in the class of 2013 enrolled than the state average and graduates of ICSM- participating schools, but fewer enrolled than all 21 st century scholars and scholars in ICSM- participating schools When looking at postsecondary enrollment IMMEDIATELY AFTER HIGH SCHOOL:

Comparatively: 69% of all students entering in 2013 persisted to 2014 78% of scholars entering in 2013 persisted to 2014 67% of ICSM students who entered in 2014 persisted to 2015 However, only 49% of ICSM scholars who entered in 2013 persisted to 2015 (comparison data not yet available) When looking at student persistence data:
