2 Where do they live? Emperor penguins mostly live in Antarctica. They need the cold weather because they need ice to catch their food, so they won’t starve.

3 How do they look like? * Height:45 inches to 4 feet *Weight: Up to 88 pounds *Lifespan: An Emperor penguin can live up to 15 to 20 years. *What they look like: They have white feathers on their stomachs and black feathers on their backs. They have short, thick feathers that cover their body. Their feathers are also waterproof so that they can catch fish. They also have a little orange on their heads. * It is also the largest penguin

4 Their Ecosystem *Their ecosystem has whales, seals, and birds. *It has a lot of ice and water. * It also has very freezing weather in Antarctica.

5 Non-living parts *In their ecosystem, they have plants under the ice. *Also, in their ecosystem it has lots of water and air. *It also has some winds in Antarctica.

6 Living parts in Antarctica *In Antarctica, there is seals, fish, and whales. *There is also sharks in Antarctica. *There is also much other kinds of penguins in Antarctica.

7 The role of the Emperor penguin The Emperor penguin is in the bottom of the food chain because many other animals eat penguins. Emperor penguins also eat fish, squid, and krill.
