4 Neolithic (8000 B.C.-4000 B.C.) ► More people are fed  higher population  unclean  spread of disease ► However, farming improves lives of people

5 Neolithic (8000 B.C.-4000 B.C.) ► Food surplus  free time to do other things: specialization (development of different kinds of jobs)  make things  trade

7 Bronze Age (After 4000 B.C.-1200 B.C.) ► People make new metal: copper + tin = bronze ► Harder and longer lasting metal than copper ► Widely used
