2 Problem: On-Campus Parking CEBA Parking Lot

3 Current Methods  Students spend time “parking lot stalking” other students to find a spot. Time Consuming Stressful  May spend time looking for a parking spot in a lot that is completely full

4 Current Methods  The most hi-tech parkers may rely on tweets from the parking office Unreliable Inaccurate within an hour

5 The Solution: iPark App  iPark will track parking spots on campus and provide students with the ability to quickly and easily find parking on campus at a location convenient for them.

6 Target Audience  The system is mainly targeted to LSU students, faculty, and staff, but will be available to the public to use for sporting events as well as other events and activities on campus.

8 How it will work  Sensors will be located on each student parking spot on campus.  When the user opens the app they can select: The parking lot they would like to park in A building they would like to park near.

9 How it will work  A computer generated image of the parking lot will appear with each spot color coded for filled or vacant
