3 Tennis was made thousands of years ago by monks in Europe who played it for entertainment during religious ceremonies. When tennis first started it was played with only hands.

4 What is a tennis ball made of? Tennis balls are made of a rubber core with a felt cover. The seam is made of the glue used to put the felt onto the rubber.

5 What are tennis racquets made of? Most tennis racquets are made of graphite composites. The used to be made of wood. Strings are either natural gut or synthetic.

6 Rafael Nadal Born on March 6, 1986. 25 years old Lives in Manacor, Mallorca, Spain. Ranked number 2 in the world for singles.

7 Novak Djokovic Ranked number 1 in the world for singles. Recently beat Rafael Nadal to win the Australian Open. Lives in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Born on May 22 nd 1987. 24 years old.
