VISION A family of servant leaders of graduates and students encouraging each other to walk and work with Christ in our communities for the glory of GOD To sustain the SVCF-UPLB heritage of sharing, caring and reaching out for Christ. An Overview of the SVCF-UPLB Undergraduate Ministry LEADERSHIP - SVCF-UPLB undergraduate ministry has a new set of executive committee members, with Karis del Castillo, a 3 rd year BS Biology student as the newly elected President. MEMBERSHIP - To date, SVCF-UPLB has estimated of 61 members, some attend occasionally while some might transfer to UP Diliman or to other schools due to proximity - After facing and overcoming months of struggles and challenges by God’s grace, SVCF-UPLB was formally recognized as an organization in UPLB last January 2009

An Overview of the SVCF-UPLB Undergraduate Ministry RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT - SVCF-UPLB raised their own revolving fund to support regular activities through buying and selling buko pies and cassava cakes, sacrificial dinner, pledges, and rummage sales. KAPATIRAN - SVCF is actively involved in this overall Christian organization to unite all the Christians for one vision and mission in UPLB campus.

An Overview of the SVCF-UPLB Undergraduate Ministry SV-HOME - At present, the SV Home residents are scouting for a new home - An exclusive residence for SV boys - A strategic place for holistic discipleship, large group fellowships, cell groups, Bible Studies, trainings, playing area, eating place and “tambayan”. It also serves as a retreat place for graduates and students from Manila.

2002 Vision for SVCF-UPLB AN ESTABLISHED MINISTRY - Two to three years after, the SVCF-UPLB and ISCF shall become an established-student led ministry that will continue to grow and multiply reaching students and other key campuses in the region. AVAILABLE RESOURCES - Ownership of an IV-Home, a student training building, and a vehicle to sustain the ministry. IVCF SOUTHERN TAGALOG REGIONAL UNIT - SVCF shall be the launching pad for the new IVCF Regional Unit covering Laguna, Batangas, Cavite, Quezon, Mindoro provinces, and Palawan.

Supporting the Undergrad Ministry MISSION PROGRAM KRA for 2006- 2009ACCOMPLISHMENT INDICATORS RESPONSIBLE 1. Support IVCF Ministry in UPLB * Financially suport one full- time IVCF staff for UPLB Since IVCF can only commit one visiting staff to SVCF-UPLB at the moment, the SVCF-UPLB Alumni Association commits to give Php4,000.00 (?)/ month to Ms. Ging Marbella, the assigned visiting staff to SV-UPLB Board * Financially support Graduate Team/ Volunteers for SVCF-UPLB 2006-2007 Full-time GT (Kit Betia)- Php8,000.00/month 2007-2008 Part-time GT (Dan Sadia) - Php2,000.00/month Board * Equip Graduate Team/ Volunteers by sending them to various trainings Ms. Kit Betia was able to attend the IVCF Staff Conference in 2006, subsidized by SVCF- UPLB AA. The future GTs will be stongly encouraged to attend GT conference to further equip them for the work Board

Supporting the Undergrad Ministry MISSION PROGRAMKRA for 2006- 2009ACCOMPLISHMENT INDICATORS RESPONSIBLE 1. Support IVCF Ministry in UPLB * Provide financial support for training of SVCF-UPLB student leaders From 2006- 2009, 12 delegates from SVCF-UPLB were sent to KC, 19 to LDMC and 12 to ECHO, all with 50% subsidy from SVCF- UPLB AA Board * Conduct trainings and group discussions to SVCF-UPLB student leaders Some SVCF-UPLB alumni have been graciously accepting speaking engagements from SV students such as large group fellowships and graduate trainings Board * Provide financial support to SVCF-UPLB for its operational expenses Last September 20, 2008, the pledge of SVCF-UPLB AA of Php1,500.00 for the SV Home rental was increased to Php2,000.00 Board

Supporting the Undergrad Ministry MISSION PROGRAM KRA for 2006- 2009ACCOMPLISHMENT INDICATORSRESPONSIBLE 1. Support IVCF Ministry in UPLB * Link students and alumni to local churches for training, pastoral care, counseling, church support and nurture A meeting with LBCRC was held last April 25, 2009 in LBCRC church. It was resolved that LBCRC will draft MOA between them and SVCF-UPLB AA, which will state that as a partnership, LBCRC will provide pastoral care, training and fellowship to SVCF-UPLB students and graduates who are attending their church. Church membership will remain the prerogative of the attending students and alumni. In turn, SVCF-UPLB will invite and conduct trainings for LBCRC. It was also suggested that LBCRC join SVCF-UPLB in prayer for SVCF to be a mission arm of LBCRC as their ministry to the students. A follow-up meeting was set on May 30 in LB where the MOA drafted by LBCRC will be presented and the list, profile and endorsement letters from pastors of their local churches will be provided by SVCF-UPLB for those members attending in LBCRC. Organizational Development MISSION PROGRAM KRA for 2006- 2009ACCOMPLISHMENT INDICATORSRESPONSIBLE 1. Establish communication among members and with other organizations * Quarterly NewsletterFour Issues of the SVCF-UPLB Alumni Association Newsletter, "Bridges" were released containing updates from the undergraduate and almuni ministries, prayer concerns, message from the president, financial report and announcements. Two issues were released for 2007 and another 2 for 2008. Board * Monthly corporate and individual prayer updates Monthly prayer updates through email.Secretary * Maintain and manage alumni website Pictures of alumni events and gatherings are posted in the multiply website. Secretary * Maintain SEC registration After much review, consultation and deliberation, it was resolved by the board to undergo the reinstatement process of SEC after the organization's SEC registration was revoked. At present, the board is securing all necessary documents and information for the reinstatement process. Ate Czarina Martinez willingly and selflessly volunteered to facilitate the SEC registration. Maintain an alumni profile * Maintain a database of the SVCF - UPLB alumni since 1970 There are 263 alumni who are included in the Alumni Directory as of April 2009. Secretary 3. Spiritual support and encouragement of alumni * Annual Alumni ReunionA Grand Alumni Reunion was held last November 30, 2007 in JGSCM, Muntinlupa. The event was attended by around 30 alumni and students. Board * Quarterly Prayer Fellowships 4 Prayer fellowships were attended by 15- 30 people per prayer fellowship. For 2007, the first one was held in Gateway Mall in Cubao and one in Kuya Edwin's office. For 2008, one was held in Bread from Heaven, Shangri-La Mall and the latest was in Anest Tower in LB. Board * Annual General AssemblyFrom "Any day in March", the board resolved to change the Annual General Assembly to May 1. In compliance with the SEC requirement, the Annual G.A. should now be strictly observed. Board and SVCF-UPLB Alumni Association

Intensify local and international giving * Distribution and collection of Pledge forms Pledge forms were sent out and collected via email and during various alumni events and gatherings such as prayer fellowships and alumni reunion. Board/ RDO * Sending out of reminders for pledges via email Based on the accomplished pledge forms, reminders for pledges were sent to the people concerned. Secretary/ RDO * Support and maintain Resource Development Officer (RDO) Last August 22, 2008, Mr. Nat Loscos accepted the position of the RDO. However, around March 2009, Nat decided to do full-time work in their local church in preparation for his desire to be a pastor. Board

Link with other IVCF groups and Christian organizations * Provide links to IVCF and other organizations in the alumni website It was proposed that a new website for SVCF-UPLB alumni be made and be regularly updated by the RDO. It was also suggested to coordinate with IVCF staff who maintains the IVCF website to provide a link that will connect to SVCF-UPLB website to further encourage partnership with other IVCF organizations and alumni. Supporting the Undergrad Ministry MISSION PROGRAM KRA for 2006- 2009ACCOMPLISHMENT INDICATORS RESPONSIBLE 1.Strengthen partnership with IVCF Philippines National Office * Adhere and submit to IVCF Philippines' purposes, distinctives, mission, vision and core values As per Update Letter sent by Mr. Erickson Velardo, ND of IVCF Phils. SVCF-UPLB is one of the first two groups which submitted the minimum requirements to be official Affiliate Groups. Board * Provide financial support to the IVCF ministry From the 10% tithe of SVCF-UPLB to IVCF Phils. The BOT resolved last September 20, 2008 to increase the 10% tithe to 20% to represent both local giving and international giving through MEANS. Board

Strengthening Partnership with IVCF Phils. MISSION PROGRAMKRA for 2006- 2009ACCOMPLISHMENT INDICATORS RESPONSIB LE 1. Strengthen partnership with IVCF Philippines National Office * Actively participate in various activities and ministries initiated and organized by IVCF Ptr. Teddy Presnedi was elected as Vice-Chairman for the Metro Manila Regional Unit of IVCF. He's been coordinating and updating SVCF-UPLB AA about the recent developments and prayer concerns of MMRU. Ptr. Teddy Presnedi Around 35 students and alumni of SVCF-UPLB attended the IVCF Alumni Homecoming in November 2008 Board/ RDO

Maintaining Strategic Partnerships MISSION PROGRAMKRA for 2006- 2009ACCOMPLISHMENT INDICATORS RESPONSIBLE 1. SVCF shall be the launching pad for the new IVCF Regional Unit covering Laguna, Batangas, Cavite, Quezon, Mindoro provinces and Palawan * Initiate and support ministries that will cater to the needs of the Southern Tagalog campuses and students SVCF-UPLB AA supports and recognizes its partnership with Common Ground, initiated with some SVCF-UPLB alumni in partnership with other IVCF alumni, was formally launched this year of 2009. At present, Common Ground has on- going Bible studies in Batangas State University and had Missions Camp last October 2008. Several SVCF-UPLB graduates and students partipated and served as counselors in the said Missions Camp. Board

Resource Development Officer (RDO) Job Description: Responsible for the collection and reminder of all pledges/ donations of both SVCF AA and non- SVCF AA members who have committed to financially participate in the ministry. Build and cultivate relationships with both SVCF AA and non- SVCF AA members who wish to support the ministry, through regular visitation, phone calls, emails and text messaging. Uphold in prayer, both SVCF AA and non- SVCF AA members who wish to support the ministry, upon visitation. Solicit and provide the SVCF AA BOT Secretary the prayer concerns from visited SVCF AA and non- SVCF AA members.

Resource Development Officer (RDO) Job Description (cont’d…): Issue Official Receipts to donors upon receipt of pledges/ donations. Accommodate inquiries and give updates regarding pledges. Provide acknowledgement report to the donors summarizing the amount they have already given to the ministry. Submit to the board the monthly iterinary with remarks/ updates regarding visitations or any communication with both SVCF AA and non- SVCF AA members. And other tasks that may be assigned by the board.
