6 Classroom Supplies loose leaf notebook paper binder or folder pencils scientific calculator Detentions will be given for failure to bring materials to class after one warning for each grading period. Students are supplied with forgotten tools that day.

7 Grading Assignments are 40% of the quarter grade. There are assignments almost every day. Tests and quizzes are 60% of the quarter grade. Student will receive a test review for each Chapter worth 3 bonus points if completed. Each quarter grade is 45% of the semester grade Final exam is 10% of the semester grade Grade information available on Parent Connect. Look for the date of the last update.

10 Ten Ways to Reduce Math Anxiety  Overcome negative self-talk.  Ask questions  Consider math a foreign language—it must be practiced.  Don’t rely on memorization to study math.  READ your math text.  Study math according to your learning style.  Get help the same day you don’t understand.  Be relaxed and comfortable while studying math.  “TALK” mathematics.  Develop responsibility for your own successes and failures.
