3.  ACCT-BVP1-4 Students will be able to demonstrate proper set-up and use of basic production equipment.  Demonstrate proper camera movement

4. Tilt  To point the camera up or down

5. Pan  To turn the camera horizontally

6. Truck  To move the camera side to side

7. Dolly  To move the camera toward or away from the object in out

8. Arc  To move a camera in a slightly curved dolly or truck.

9. Cant  Tilting the camera sideways

10. Pedestal  To move the camera up and down using a studio pedestal.

11. Tripod  Three legged camera mount

13. Quick Release Plate  Mounting plate used to attach camcorders and ENG/EFP cameras to the fluid head.

14. Pan and Tilt Lock  Locks the fluid head of a tripod so it cannot tilt or pan. MUST be loosened before panning or tilting.

15. Steadicam  Camera mount whose built-in springs hold the camera steady while the operator moves.
