3 BRITISH COLUMBIA Terry Fox was from BC. In 1979, he tried to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. Let’s run in the Terry Fox Run.

4 YUKON Did you know that Mount Logan in the Yukon is 6000 meters high and is the highest mountain in Canada? Let’s climb Mount Logan.

5 NORTHWEST TERRITORIES Mackenzie River in the NWT is the longest river in Canada and covers a distance of nearly 1800 km. Let’s go swimming in the Mackenzie River.

6 NUNAVUT Nunavut is the newest territory of Canada; it was separated officially from the Northwest Territories in 1999. The capital, Iqaluit, (formerly Frobisher Bay) means the place of many fish. Let’s go ice-fishing for some trout.

7 ALBERTA Did you know that Calgary is home to the Stampede, the greatest outdoor show on earth? Let’s ride a wild bull!

8 SASKATCHEWAN Saskatchewan is the breadbasket of Canada, containing nearly 40% of its farmland. Let’s ride a horse across the prairie range.

9 MANITOBA Churchill, Manitoba is "the polar bear capital of the world". Polar Bear was seen here in March - Run!

10 ONTARIO The CN Tower, one of the world’s tallest buildings, is in Toronto, Ontario. Let’s take the stairs to the top of the CN Tower.

11 QUEBEC The Quebec City Winter Carnival, held for 17 days beginning the last weekend of January, is the largest winter festival in the world. Let’s dance with the Carnival mascot, Bonhomme.

12 NEW BRUNSWICK The Bay of Fundy between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia has the world's highest tides (15 m high). Let’s row a boat in the Bay of Fundy.

13 NOVA SCOTIA Apples and blueberries are grown in the Annapolis Valley. Let’s pick some apples.

14 PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND The 13 km Confederation Bridge joins New Brunswick and PEI. Let’s fly a plane over the Confederation Bridge!

15 NEWFOUNDLAND Icebergs and whales can be seen around Newfoundland shores in the spring. Let’s go kayaking with the whales.
