2 What Size is My File? To determine the size of a file: PC: With the file closed, right click on the icon for the file as seen on the computer desktop and select “Properties”. MAC: With the file closed, right click on the icon for the file as seen on the computer desktop and select “Get Info”

3 Image Formats and File Size Making an image smaller, can reduce the file size. Changing an image format from Bitmap (.bmp) to JPEG (.jpg) can greatly reduce file size This Bitmap.bmp image file is 336 kb
