After the students cannot name anymore careers they will watch a short YouTube clip about different types of careers. Students will also be asked if they know what career they want to go into. 8 Students will be broken up into partners and they will begin researching a career option that they are interested in. The same career cannot be used twice. Once the students have done a little research on their topic they will write key facts about their career on a poster board. They can use the resource given as a start to begin understanding what their career is. The teacher will explain to the class that these careers are something to strive to become and how working hard in school will help them obtain these goals. The students will need 2 to 3 benefits or positives for going into the assigned field. Resources: Computers, posters, pencils, marker.

11 Negatives/Weaknesses

12 To finish the poster board you and your partner will also find the negatives of working in the career. You will need to find 2- 3 negatives about working the specific career. This will help the students understand that not all careers are perfect so they will have to choose a career path they are passionate about. Resources: Computers, pencils, markers, poster board. Negatives/Weaknesses
