2. The Genesee County Metropolitan Alliance is the agency designated as the official Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Genesee County. The Metropolitan Alliance is responsible for carrying out the federal transportation planning process in Genesee County. The Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission GCMPC serves as staff to the MPO.
