2 Nouns  Nouns are very easy to spot. A noun is a word that names a person, place, thing, or idea.  Any object that you can see is a noun; concepts, such as love or hate, are also nouns.  Nouns can be classified as common or proper, concrete or abstract, and collective.common or properconcrete or abstractcollective  An easy way to determine if a word is a noun that works most of the time is to add an a or the to it. (the vision, an apple, the turn)

3 Examples of Nouns  hat, communication, Dallas, woman, pen, car, bike, boy, dog, plane, New York

4 Activity Come to the board and circle nouns. 1.George and Godzilla walked to Papa John's to order a large pepperoni pizza. 2.I left my hat in the car. 3.Lets go to the mall and buy new shoes. 4.Can I have your pickles? 5.What is the weather like?
