9 Home Reading The children take home two books every Wednesday. Spend longer on one book in order to support precise understanding and comprehension. Spend time talking about and retelling the book. Ask a wide range of questions that support children in reading for meaning.

10 Year 2 SATs In the summer term, the children will complete SATs (Standard Assessment Tests) papers. English: grammar, punctuation and spelling, English: Reading, Mathematics kgyioiuioiuug SATs will form part of our normal assessment procedure against age related standards (ARS). Are children on track/ not track to meet ARS for their year group? SATs information meeting later on in the year.
