3 Leveling Math We have two enrichment and three grade level classes this year. Classes have been leveled by the administration based on curriculum assessments, such as Math in Focus unit assessments, District benchmark assessments, and performance on PSSAs.

4 / Enrichment: a student performing at the enrichment level solves complex problems and demonstrates an in- depth understanding of the skills, concepts, and procedures for that grade level. These students can break content down into its component pieces, and use it purposefully in new situations.

5 / Grade-level: a student performing at grade level solves problems and demonstrates an understanding of the skills, concepts and procedures for that grade level. These students are able to solve practical and real world problems.

9 Conferences / Parent teacher conferences are scheduled twice during the school year: one to discuss your child’s progress in Math, and the other to discuss your child’s progress in Language Arts. / This year we will use Sign Up Genius to schedule conference times.
