1 TOPIC: TAMARAW: AN ENDANGERED ANIMAL Prepared by: RACHEL JOY N. ALVARO DIVISION OF OCCIDENTAL MINDORO

2 I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION This plan is intended for grade Four Pupils- SPED (GT) class. This is an offshoot of the discussion on endangered animals. In this project the students are expected to create a PowerPoint presentation about Tamaraw. They will search the net for information, collaborate and communicate with peers and the people in the community as they investigate about Tamaraw in their natural habitat, develop their skills in technology design and show creativity as they accomplish the task.

11 TABLE OF ASSESSMENT ASSESSMENTPROCESS AND PURPOSE BrainstormingIn a small group students activate their schema, share and discuss ideas and plan what to do to accomplish the task. This allows and the students to gauge how they collaborate and communicate with peers while the teacher keeps track of their progress or work overtime Journal LogsStudents will write their learning and reflection regarding the task/ activity. 12 TABLE OF ASSESSMENT ASSESSMENT PROCESS AND PURPOSE RubricA rubric tells students what is expected of them, the grading criteria, what counts and what doesn't, how many points they will earn for each task, and how their work is graded. Students and the teacher will be guided as they monitor the learning performance and progress and rate the output. DiscussionTeacher uses this to gauge the students’ progress. When students answer or try to explain, teachers can see the extent of their understanding. She can correct (or help the students correct) what the students haven’t got right or don’t see quite clearly.
