Understanding Judging “Who am I to judge?” “We are not to Judge another.” “We should not bind our way on someone else.” “We should not judge others for the way they believe.” Do Christians NOT have a right to judge another? “Judging is Wrong!”

Understanding Judging No one believes it is wrong to Judge! If we say that Someone: Is Good Did Right Is a Christian Going to Heaven If we say that Someone: Sins Is Wrong Is Lost Will Lose Soul Wrong! Both Are Judging OKAY!

The Bible Tells Us: At least 3 different kinds of judgment Hypocritical “judge not, that you be not judged ” Opinion “let no one judge you in food or drink” Righteous “judge righteous judgment”

Sinful – Jesus speaks of this type Matthew 7:1-5 Jesus only condemns hypocritical judgment Jesus does not condemn the concern or judgment for the “speck” The remedy “first remove the plank from your own eye, THEN you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye” Galatians 6:1-2; James 5:19-20; Romans 2:1-3, 21-24 Understanding Judging Hypocritical

Christians are to live their lives in accordance with the will of God Titus 2:11-12; Matthew 7:21 May we be determined to live a life of service to God, teaching others to do the same Matthew 28:18-20 Understanding Judging “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” (John 7:24)
