7 Reproduction Internal Reproduction Viviparous The young (joeys) stay in a pouch until age of about two months. The young is on their own at an age of about four months. Mother gives birth to one or two joeys.

8 Human Impact Not endangered Only negative impact on their habitat is mass destruction of bush area. They are not endangered because they can live in relatively small bush areas.
