2 Mini Case 1 A 60 years old male presented to ED with severe backache (pain score 8/10). Sudden onset for 2 hours blood pressure 190/110, Patient ill & sweaty. Category 2 Age 60 Severe pain Sudden backache High BP Triage course

3 Mini Case 2 A 24 years old male patient presented to ED after a fall at home, numbness over both lower limbs, he was in a wheelchair, normal vital signs pain score 4/10 Category 3  Pain score only 4  Can wait Triage course

4 Case 3 Case 3 A 74 year old man with history of laryngeal carcinoma presented with history of shortness of breath his O 2 saturation 90% RR – 22/min. Category 2  Airway pathology  SOB  Desaturation Triage course

5 Case 4 A 50 years old male known hypertensive presented with headache for 2 days duration pain score is 3/10, his vital signs : BP – 190/105 Pulse – 90/min, RR – 18/min, Temp, - 37.2 Category 3  Headache is mild  2 days duration  No need for emergency HPT Treatment Triage course

6 Case 5 A 20 years old female had forearm fracture 2 days back, cast was applied after reduction in ED. Has follow up appointment in fracture clinic, presented with severe pain at the limb for one day, pain score 8/10 Category 2  Severe pain  Needs immediate removal of cast Triage course

7 Case 7 A 18 year old fall while playing foot ball with left leg pain, leg is apparently deformed with absent pulses distal to deformity site. Category 2 No pulses Possible ischemia Triage course

8 Case 8 A 55 years old female presented with skin rash for 2 weeks duration for the last 2 days, she became unable to take oral due to involvement of her mouth normal vital signs. Category 3 New complaint of mouth involvement Triage course

9 Case 9 A 29 years old female presented with sore throat nasal congestion fever for 3 days, febrile 38.5 otherwise normal vital signs. No PMH of significance, no headache or photophobia Category 4 Young patient No significant PMH Symptoms of URTI Triage course

10 Case 10 A 40 years old male known to have prostate cancer on chemotherapy last dose 1 week back, presented with sore throat, and fever. Looks well temp. 37.2 BP- 120/70, Pulse – 100/min, RR – 18/min has taken paracetamol at home Category 2 History of fever Afebrile but took paracetamol at home On chemotherapy Triage course
