3. The Declaration of Independence announced on July 2, 1776 but voted on by Congress on July 4, 1776 has four parts. Today you will learn what each part means and write brief statements from the document.

4. Preamble Lists the reasons for writing the Declaration “When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another…”
