Hans Budischowsky´s villa A grandiose villa in Borovina (a part of Třebíč) was built by Hans Budischowsky, the former owner of the largest shoe factory in Třebíč Carl Budischowsky und Söhne.
3
Hans Budischowsky entrusted an architect from Prague Max Spielmann to build the villa. The villa is built in the Neo-Baroque style and looks like a castle. The villa is set in a gently sloping terrain above a steep slope of the valley, where production shops of a shoe factory in Borovina are situated.

The two-storey building with an attic, which is set into the mansard roof, is on a massive stone skirting. The southern frontispiece, where the main entrance is located, as well as the nothern frontispiece, where two staircases are, are representative. The entrance portico with four pillars and a boss dominates the southern facade.
5
A magnificent entrance hall (leading through two floors) with a spiral staircase dominates the villa interior. The ground floor with a music salon and a men´s room in the eastern part, a dining room, an office and a winter garden in the western part, served exclusively social and representative purposes. The first floor, where a bedroom, children´s rooms, a guest room and a bathroom are located, has a private character. Rich stucco ceiling and wall decorations, as well as original windows, doors, door frames and other details preserved to this day. The luxuriously furnished villa provided maximum living comfort.
6
Josef František Waldstein-Wartenberg bought this villa in 1931 and established it as his residence.
7
Nowadays, the villa is for sale. The building is estimated to be worth around 3 million Czech crowns. The famous villa of Hans Budischowsky, preserved in an almost original form, is listed on the portal www.slavnevily.cz
