3 Today … I will grade your homework.
You will research one of earth’s spheres. You will work with a group to make a poster about your sphere.

4 Spheres … You will be assigned one of these spheres: Geosphere, Hydrosphere, Biosphere, Atmosphere You will find 10 facts about your sphere. Layers is just one fact. Use the textbook (74-82), use your phone. Your sphere’s information will go on ISN page 45. The majority of your grade will come from what you wrote in your ISN. The minority of your grade comes from the poster.

5 Spheres … Geosphere: What is a definition or description for your sphere? Vocabulary terms you need: Lithosphere Asthenosphere Tectonic plates Landforms What are the “layers” of the Geosphere? How does the Geosphere interact with the other spheres? What other interesting facts can you find?

6 Spheres … Atmosphere: What is a definition or description for your sphere? Vocabulary terms you need: Ozone What are the “layers” of the Atmosphere? How does the Atmosphere interact with the other spheres? What other interesting facts can you find?

How much of the Hydrosphere is available for us to drink (how much is freshwater we can use)? How does the Hydrosphere interact with the other spheres? What other interesting facts can you find?

8 Spheres … Biosphere: What is a definition or description for your sphere? How far up into the atmosphere does your biosphere go (what is the highest that birds and insects can fly)?
