8 Suitability criteria Robust and challenging criteria Service requirements Departmental multi disciplinary meetings Complies with BSW assessment model for screening colonoscopists Adequate number of staff System for monitoring and reviewing unpredicted incidents and near misses Environmental Based in an acute hospital with cardiac arrest team on site Complies with BSG Standard for decontamination of equipment and participates in all Wales audit Private rooms for discussion / admission/ SAN phone calls

9 Suitability criteria Equipment Number of scopes recommended by the BSG guidelines Modern video endoscopes <8 years old Piped oxygen to colonoscopy rooms and recovery rooms Training Offer access to and agree to attend BSW training programme Sustainable delivery plan for training programme Work force development plans e.g. nurse colonoscopists
