Note: This procedure is only valid at the time of printing. The control version can be found on the Meraux Refinery intranet. Completed Date:Prepared By:Approved By: LPG Sulfur by Antek 9000 1 If necessary, log on to computer. a.The user ID is “administrator”. b.The password is “meradminw2k”. 2Click on “Antekv387” icon to initiate Antek software program. 3Enter “joshua” for password. 4Click on “Method” box. 5Click on “File” box located bottom left of screen. 6Click on “Open File” box. 7Select “Lpg.mth”, then click “Open” box. 8Click “Sample” box located bottom right of screen. 9If not already loaded automatically, repeat steps 5 – 7 selecting “Lpg_1.sam” file. 10Click “Run” box located at bottom of screen. 11Click “Sample” box.

Completed Date:Prepared By:Approved By: LPG Sulfur by Antek 9000 (continued) 12Click “New Sample” box. 13Type in sample name. 14Place sample in 100° F water bath for approximately 5 minutes to sufficiently pressurize cylinder. 15 Attach sample to quick connect fitting of LPG/Gas box. 16Ensure needle valve to LPG/Gas box is closed (needle valve controller knob is located just below sight glass). 17Slowly open valve on sample cylinder. 18Open needle valve for 5 – 10 seconds to allow sample loop to fill. 19Monitor sight glass to ensure no air bubbles are observed in the liquid sample. 20If necessary, slowly close and reopen needle valve to remove trapped air bubbles. 21When no air bubbles are observed for at least 5 seconds, slowly close needle valve, then close valve on sample cylinder. 22Click “Start” box to begin analysis. NOTE: Sample analysis time is about 5 minutes. Once completed result is displayed numerically and graphically. 23Click “Okay” box. 24 If a duplicate analysis is required, repeat steps 10 -12 but instead of selecting “New Sample”, click “Insert After >>” box and process as before. 25Report result to nearest whole number. 26Depressurize sample system by opening needle valve and allowing system to purge for about 5 minutes. 27Remove sample cylinder from quick connect fitting – leave needle valve open while analyzer is not in use.
