3 Select two of the following quotes and make an argument about what Golding is implying. “IMPLY” MEANS: Denotation: to involve or indicate by inference, association, or necessary consequence rather than by direct statement Connotation: to read between the lines

6 LOTF: “Huts on the Beach” Actor’s Studio In groups of THREE, you are to perform a dramatic reading from Lord of the Flies. Two people will act the parts of Jack and Ralph. One person will direct and record possible answers to questions posed on the Actor’s Studio handout. Performance will be Tuesday, and groups will be drawn at random.
