5.  Blogs can be responded to and a conversations carried out UNTIL a level of depth or complexity is reached  Text files can undergo a multitude of measures, from word counts, to complexity and depth measures available right in MS Word.  Wiki’s can be used as a running development process, rather than a just graded.  Scratch pad, audio, and video production can provide learners with products they enjoy and own
