2. What is hacking?
The most simple definition of hacking is the act of gaining access without legal authorisation to a computer or computer network.
And if you hack into a computer system it is illegal and you are therefore a hacker.

You and your computer will be in danger.
People will be able to access your personal information
Mess with your accounts
And could even send you viruses.
Hackers are capable with so much, so you have to be careful.

4. How can you stop hackers being able to get on your computer?
Always back up your files
Make sure you have a firewall to prevent viruses etc.
Make sure you constantly erase your cookies file, as they track what you do online
Watch out for JavaScript files, as hackers can plant viruses and other harmful things
Don’t open unknown attachments
Only run and download programs from places you trust
Turn of your computer and disconnect from the internet when you are not using it
