1. This demonstration will show you the steps for using SoliComm Online. SoliComm Online is a computer conferencing system on the Web. You can find it at: www.solicomm.net Hit the down arrow key when you want to see the next screen in the demonstration. Hit the up arrow key to review the previous screen. Hit the down arrow key now.

2. Using SoliComm Online This is the opening screen of SoliComm Online. It is the screen you will see after you enter your username and password. To see your conferences click on Conferences Hit the down arrow

3. Using SoliComm Online This screen shows the conferences you have joined. In this example there is one joined conference called Practice. Click on the name of the conference to enter it. Hit the down arrow

4. Using SoliComm Online This screen shows the messages in the conference. In this example there is one message entitled “Welcome”. Click on the Subject line to open the message. Clicking on the name of the author will start the process of sending an email. Hit the down arrow

5. Using SoliComm Online When you have clicked on the Subject line the message content will be displayed. You can return to the Conference list by clicking on the Go To button (when the Conference List choice is displayed). Or you can see message subject lines by clicking on Show Headers. Hit the down arrow

6. Using SoliComm Online When you click on Show Headers you will see the subject lines of the conference messages in a box. You can use the scroll bar to find the next unread message. Or click on Current Message to be brought automatically to the message you were reading. Hit the down arrow

7. Using SoliComm Online To add a message click on Add New. Hit the down arrow

8. Using SoliComm Online Clicking on Add New displays the screen in which you compose your message. Add a subject line. Then type your message in the large box at the bottom. The Preview button will show you what your message will look like when it is entered. The Add button will put it into the conference. Hit the down arrow

9. Using SoliComm Online When you have added the message you will be presented with the message below. Click on Back to the Conference Hit the down arrow

10. Using SoliComm Online You can display the messages in the conference according to many criteria. Make your choice and click on the Show button under the box. However, SoliComm will continue to present your messages according to the choice you made (even if you leave and return to the conferencing system). Remember to re-set All Messages to Date. Hit the down arrow

11. Using SoliComm Online To exit the program click on the X on the top right of the screen Hit the down arrow
