1 Introduction, Security, Technical Requirements and Access Tips ADMIT

2 Introduction The College Net Admit system allows Coordinators, Faculty and any other designated Reviewers or Staff members to view, provide a review or make decisions for applications submitted to the Wharton Doctoral Programs via our online application system. Currently, applicants apply to the Wharton Doctoral Programs using College Net’s online application system (https://www.applyweb.com/upennw/index.ftl). Once the applicant submits his/her application, the data he/she entered into College Net and the documents uploaded (e.g., transcripts, essays, etc.) is available in the Admit system for review and decision making.https://www.applyweb.com/upennw/index.ftl Things to be aware of: Comments and notes you may make on an application in Admit will NEVER be seen by the applicant. Please be sure to use discretion when making comments on an application, for both privacy and legal reasons. These applications will be stored and accessible (upon request to the Doctoral office) in the Admit system for historical purposes.

3 Security With the exception of the members of the Wharton Doctoral Programs office (Staff & Vice Dean) and select people from Wharton Computing, coordinators, reviewers, readers, staff, etc. can see only the applications that have been submitted for their program/department. Within each department there are different User Rights granted to different people that will allow them to do certain things to or view certain aspects of an application. A brief overview of the levels: Doctoral Coordinator – access to all applications for their departments and all information Faculty Reviewer – access to applications that have been assigned to them by the Coordinator or the Coordinator’s designated representative. Staff – initial view Note: user groups can be modified or new ones created if needed and users can be granted different access levels with coordinators’ approval.
