2 The Words of My Mouth Will Judge Me (Matthew 12:36-37; Prov. 18:21; Psalm 59:12) Must Be Pleasing to God (Psalm 139:1-4; 12:1-4; 19:14) Should Reflect Inner Purity (Matthew 12:34-35; Proverbs 15:26; Col. 4:6) Must be Controlled (James 1:26; Proverbs 21:23; 10:19; 17:27; 1 Peter 3:10; Psalm 34:12-13; 50:19-20) Should never be corrupt (Ephesians 4:29; 5:3-4; Matthew 6:9)

4 Our Words will Either Justify us or Condemn Us! There are so many good things to say. Words of encouragement, comfort & praise Words of thanksgiving to God and man Words that bring smiles and joy Words that tell the story of Jesus! …and words that you can speak to the saving of your soul. “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
