Your Template must contain print screen evidence and annotations (comments) to support each print screen.

There should be some text and a header, although the quality of these may be poor. They will open an attachment sent to them via email and will save it to their work area. They will send messages to multiple recipients. Candidates will make a brief comment about the risks of opening email attachments. They will send, receive, reply and forward email, including messages with multiple documents attached. They will use appropriate subjects and message text. They will send messages to multiple recipients and demonstrate an understanding of the use of cc. They will set messages as high or low importance. Candidates will summarise the risks of receiving and opening email attachments. They will send, receive, reply and forward email, including messages with multiple documents attached. They will consistently use appropriate subjects and message text. They will send messages to multiple recipients using cc and bcc appropriately, considering privacy issues. They will store, retrieve and use email addresses and details of personal contacts. They will make effective use of features of email software, including creating and using an email signature. Candidates will summarise the risks of receiving and opening email attachments and suggest actions that could be taken to reduce these risks

5 Task A Receive an email and Open an attachment and save the attachment to your work area.

6 Task B Create an email signature, including a comment about the school policy on printing unnecessary emails and attachments.

7 Task C Use an address book to store at least two email addresses You can find the email address for Paul Chester, Nicky Dawson & Ian Pearson in the Email Assignment.

8 Task D Forward the email from the Head of Drama to at least two students.

9 Task E Reply to the Head of Drama’s email by attaching a document finalising cast members and an image from the dress rehearsals. Set priority to low. The email must include a subject heading and appropriate message text. Use your address book to cc the message to fellow members of the cast.

10 Task F Compose a new email to the Head of Drama. Attach the agenda for the next meeting. The email must include an appropriate subject heading and message text. Use your address book to cc the message to one of the contacts you added i.e. Mr. Ian Pearson. Use your address book to bcc the message to the other contact you added i.e. Miss. Nicky Dawson. Set the priority of the message to high. Print screens on following slide

Create an email to all cast members (Nicky and Ian) that includes a statement summarising the risks of receiving and opening email attachments and suggest actions that could be taken to reduce these risks.
