3 Behavioral Example, Skill and Intuition Description of a specific life-history event. Skill is a behavior that is observable, measurable and trainable. Relying on intuition allows interviewers to reflect their biases against candidates.

4 Structured Interview, Skills Analysis, Rapport Building Pre planned questions based on requirements for a specific job Analysis done by looking at job requirements through review of a job description. Rapport puts candidate at ease.

5 Seeking Contrary, Open-Ended, Controlling the Interview Ask questions that will provide evidence about mistakes, weaknesses, or problems in the past. Open encourages lengthy answers Without controlling the interview talkative candidates take away time to gain enough information about the candidates skills.
