3 A.  One of Hitler’s primary goals was to unite all German speaking peoples  The Rhineland bordered France and according to the Versailles Treaty it was to be permanently demilitarized. Hitler took it in 1935.  Hitler took Austria without a fight in 1938  The Sudetenland was a German speaking Czech region. Hitler was given it after the Munich Accords were signed in 1938.
