6 Raising standards consistently strong programme area but the need to sustain this through continued investment and development address the minority of poor teaching and learning meet the continuing need to be flexible and responsive to the workplace needs continue to develop blended learning and ILT materials engage more effectively with employers, Sector Skills Councils and the awarding bodies maintain the status of the programme area within FE and training
