Students will be involved in practice focused workshops and seminars that address both critical and theoretical studies of pedagogy and practice in higher education. Components Include: Traditions, contexts and pedagogy Designing curriculum, assessing and supervising in higher education Reflecting on practice in learning and teaching Linking teaching and research within and beyond the disciplines The course has a taught component and a dissertation. The duration will be three years part-time, with an exit point at the end of the second year leading to the award of a Postgraduate Diploma.
