1 Baseline – Endline Assessments – Overview (1/2)
What is Baseline / Endline assessment? 2 similar assessments that are done once at the beginning, and once at the end of an intervention Helps us measure the effect of our intervention by comparing the performance of intervention schools Vs. other schools How is it different from other ongoing assessments? Main purpose of Baseline / Endline is for a controlled, central, in-depth assessment of learning levels at the beginning and at the end of the intervention period It is a test to understand students' grasp over previous two grades' competencies and not current grade competencies No good or bad judgment is associated with school performance.
