4 2.a) biotic- living things in the environment abiotic- non-living things in the environment. b)abiotic- non-living things in the environment. extinct- a species that has completely died out.

5 c) individual- one organism population- A group of individuals of the same species, living together in one place. d)weather- refers to local conditions that change from day to day, and even from hour to hour. climate- refers to the average weather pattern of a region.
