3. Plane Mirrors  A plane mirror is a flat mirror.  Reverse images from left to right  Image appears that same distance from the front of the mirror to the back to the mirror  Image in the mirror is called a virtual image.

5. Concave Mirrors  Mirrors that curve inward.  Images will be upside down  Also images can be real or virtual depending on how the light rays are passed through the focal point  Used in headlights and flashlights

7. Convex Mirrors  Mirrors that curve outward  Images are right side up  Images are all virtual.  Used in side mirrors on cars and as security mirrors in businesses
