8. The Reclassification Process Identify candidates. Complete the MUHSD English Learner Reclassification Data review sheet. Consult the parent /guardian of the student regarding the Reclassification Process and assessment results. Document parent response on the review sheet. If parent agrees to Reclassification, document the change in status on the review sheet and sign the document. Complete the process by having an administrator review and sign the completed Reclassification document as final approval. MUHSD FormsForms

9. Parent Notification Send a copy of the completed English Learner Reclassification Data review sheet home accompanied by the RFEP Notification letter. Give the original to the registrar. The registrar will make a note of the RFEP date in Transcript box and place it in the student’s cumulative file.

11. Documentation in Aeries Enter the Reclassification date. Redes. Dt = Redesignation Date, the old term for Reclassification Step 3

12. Documentation in Aeries Document change in Language Fluency status in the Counseling Screen. Step 4 Step 5 If timing is appropriate, change schedule.
