2 Understanding your HSE Culture – PDO/Contractors Feedback July ’02: Launching of Working Safely & Hearts and Minds Tools – (At Holiday Inn Villa). Results: Score 3 i.e. “Calculative” Sept ’02: The scoring by individual MDC member indicates that PDO is very much in Calculative and moving to Proactive, whilst Supervision and Workforce (from members who gave opinion) are just getting into Calculative stage. Nov ’02: Launching of ESS refresher & Hearts and Minds Tools (At Marina Bander Al-Rowdha). HSE advisers and ESS champions. Results: Calculative and moving to Proactive, whilst medium-sized Contractors are just into Calculative stage. Compilation of general feedback from interior locations (PDO & CONTRACTORS) Results: Score 3 i.e. “Calculative”

Incident Reporting/Analysis - Action: From the 4 theme {compliance – Managing rule breaking tool; Competence – HSE advisers Assessment and training; Supervision (ESS refresher) – Improving Supervision tool (’04). IIRA - LXE032 now has Risk Assessment Matrix tool from Hearts and Minds. 3. Quality of communication of HSE-issues - Action: working safely package, Quarterly Pop cards, more pictorial procedures (PS -2001)
