For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it.
For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself?

so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world…

9. You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today And then the one day you find ten years have got behind you… The sun is the same in the relative way, but you're older And shorter of breath and one day closer to death. Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines.

13. Where’s the Guarantee?
Romans 5:7-10 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

“For to you it has been granted for Christ's sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake…” Phil. 1:29
Jn.13:34-5 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
Jn. 15:12-13 This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

so that my imprisonment in the cause of Christ has become well known throughout the whole praetorian guard and to everyone else…”
