2. The Show ► The Simpsons was created my evil masterminds Matt Groening, James L. Brookes, and Sam Simon ► The show has been running strong for about 14 and 1/2 years now – making it the longest running prime time cartoon in history!!

3. The Simpson Family ► Homer – the lazy, dimwitted dad ► Marge – the mom – caring, sweet, and always optimistic ► Bart – the boy, spawn of Satan…total trouble maker ► Lisa – the quiet, smart one, never recognized for her intelligence ► Maggie – the baby…nothing more ► Santa’s Little Helper & Snowball II – the family pets

4. Other Characters ► ► Moe – the bartender, owns Moe’s Tavern, which is a favorite of the local slobs ► ► Patty & Selma – Marge’s older sisters, who live with their pet lizard, Jub-Jub ► ► Kang & Kodos – the space aliens, who once disguised themselves as presidents to take over the world ► ► Apu Nahasapemapetilon – owner of Kwik-E Mart, has septuplets

5. Other Characters Con’t ► ► Ned Flanders – Homers neighbor, the goody- goody type who lets people walk all over them ► ► Barney – village idiot, aka The Drunk ► ► Groundskeeper Willie – The scary Scottish school janitor

Family Adventures ► The Simpson family has been through many an adventure together…here are some examples: The family spent a night in a haunted house, without any TV or beer to tide Homer over…the results were not pretty. Homers Moment of Insanity Homer – “No TV and no beer make Homer something something…” Marge – “Go crazy?” Homer – “Don’t mind if I DO!!! WAAHH!!! EE OO EE OO EE OO…VT VT!!! Bwoo bwoo bwoo bwoo bwoo bwoo!!”

7. More Adventures! ► There have been other interesting situations the Simpsons have gotten themselves into…like Homers run-in with an “alien”, resulting in a visit from the FBI ► Dolphins once tried to take back the earth from the humans, after Lisa freed their King from the local aquarium This is why The Simpsons is and always will be one of my all time favorite TV shows!!
