2. When you translate, you should concentrate on the message content of the source text. Also you should think the way target audience do think. Due to the fact that each of the SL and TL are different, your translation should involve loss. I myself have tried to translate an extract from an educational book in the university.

3. In the following extract, the source language is Arabic. On the other hand, the target language is English. You are going to look at the ST, then my translation. After that you will see the noticeable differences between the first translation and my last attempt aided by my teacher.
